Kathleen is one of my best clients. I have made hair extensions for her several times. Her hair was originally platinum but gradually became lighter and eventually turned completely white—really white.
She started wearing a synthetic wig in platinum to cover all her hair, but she wanted to wear her own hair with a bit of added length in the back. However, there were no human hair extensions white enough to match her exact color.
She wanted a human hair halo, but the closest shade we could find was #60 White. She decided to go with it anyway, and I crafted it into a halo. However, when she came back to pick it up, she still wasn’t satisfied with the color.
Wanting to help, I showed her a synthetic wig in #60 Natural White and explained that I could make a halo out of it. She loved the idea and the seamless blend between her hair and the synthetic hair, so she ordered a custom-made synthetic halo.
Additionally, I suggested toning down the color of the human hair halo with a purple shampoo to remove any warmth. She agreed to try it.
